These include Missouri's stunning scenery, its fascinating people, its rich past, as well as its energetic present! About 130,000 people read each issue meaning that thousands of people get the chance to learn just how special Missouri really is.
The magazine is asking for your help in deciding who is the best of the best by hosting the "Discover the Best of Missouri Life Awards" online. Our waterfront Cajun restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks is asking for your helping claiming a couple of these awards.

Best Cocktail Bar
Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina is honored to have been nominated this year under the category of "Best Cocktail Bar." If you've tasted any of the many amazing drinks that our talented bartenders mix up daily, that's probably no surprise! (If you haven't yet enjoyed our tasty cocktails, there's still time to taste-test before you vote!)
Our fully-stocked bar features a wonderful selection of wines as well as an incredible variety of ice-cold beer. We also serve all of those popular frozen drinks that everyone loves so much after a day on the lake, plus a few of our own delicious specialty drinks. You'll see the influence from our Lake of the Ozarks Cajun food reflected in the Cajun Bloody Mary and our long list of out-of-this-world Hurricanes.

Our Cajun restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is located in Osage Beach, MO, and we must admit, we are in incredible company when it comes to places to eat! Among many others, both of our sister restaurants, Dog Days Bar & Grill and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, can also be found right here in Osage Beach.
For these reasons, it came as no shock to us that the entire town made it onto the voting ballot! Help us show some well-earned hometown pride by scrolling down to the "Small Towns" section of the voting and choosing Osage Beach for the "Best Small Town Dining."
