Ask anyone and they'll tell you that the best Cajun food at the Lake of the Ozarks can be found at Shorty Pants Lounge. Not only is it all delicious, but you can enjoy it outside by the lake, or indoors in the air conditioning. Plenty of seating all around. 

The New Orleans influence runs throughout both our food and drink menus. The Creole Quesadilla is one of our most popular starters, and the New Orleans Medley offers you a taste of four different incredible Cajun dishes. 

Heading on over to the legendary drink menu, you can enjoy a Hurricane, muddled Mojito, of the best Cajun Bloody Mary that you've ever tasted! We've also got many lake favorites: Rum Runners, Pina Coladas, and of course, you can't leave the area without trying a Pain. You'll also find a wonderful wine selection and plenty of ice cold beer.  

Our food menu has plenty of non-Cajun flavors too, if that's what you are looking for. Our Black Angus Burgers simply can't be beat, plus we offer Filet Mignon, Lobster Tails, and our famous Smoked Wings, to name a few.

Fully Stocked Marina, C-Store, & Gas Dock

A short walk down the dock will take you to the best gas dock at the Lake of the Ozarks. This is connected to a C-Store filled with everything that you could possibly need for an awesome day out on the water: ice, drinks, snacks, sunglasses, Shorty Pants gear, boat oil, suntan lotion... The list goes on and on.

The More You Eat, the More FREE Food You Earn!

Our popular Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant is a member of the Barrett Restaurant Group, making us a part of a big, delicious family of restaurants. Dog Days Bar & Grill and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse are wonderful sister restaurants to Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina, and when you dine at any one of them, you will be eligible to take part in our FREE Frequent Diner Program. 

No matter where you decide to eat between these three amazing choices, we will give you a little bit of it back in credit for future visits. Here is how the Frequent Diner Program works. 

First, simply ask your server about signing up. This can quickly and easily be done when you pay your bill. Next, all you have to do is continue ordering delicious food and drinks at any one of the Barrett Group Restaurants. Once you have spent $150, you will begin getting a 10% kickback on every penny spent after that. 



That's not difficult to do, because even though Shorty Pants and Dog Days are only open seasonally, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is there for you to enjoy all year long. Keep earning points toward free food year-round, and spend them at any of our three restaurants whenever you feel like it. These points never expire, so feel free to save them up.  

Here's an example. Say you have already spent your first $150, and you come in for a couple of drinks and an appetizer. Your bill is $20. Let your server know that you have the card, and they will make sure that you get your rewards, which in this case would be $2 to spend on another visit. 

If you decide to buy dinner & a few cocktails for everyone on the boat that day and the bill turns out to be $200, your friends have just helped you to put a $20 credit on your Frequent Diner Card. Even better, if you save your points long enough, you can buy that trip with points and just let everyone think that you splurged on them!

Father's Day is this weekend, and we've got something in mind for your dad that he'll enjoy a lot more than another tie for his collection - a day with you at the best waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks. Incredible food, great drinks, awesome live music, and a beautiful lake view are all waiting to greet your father at Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina.  

Fun for the Entire Family

Our family friendly restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is easily accessible by both land and water. We've also got plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, so no matter what the weather, hot, cold, rainy, or sunny, you and your dad will be comfortable. 

If you will be visiting us from out of town, Shorty Pants Lounge now has two incredible houses for rent. The Red House and the Glass House are both located next to door to us, close to town and right on the water. Much cozier than a hotel room, you will feel at home in one of our vacation rentals.  

Shorty Pants Marina offers covered boat slips, a full-service gas dock, and the best C-store on the water, full of everything that you will need for a day on the lake. It's a great place to stock up before spending an afternoon exploring the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. 

In addition to the always amazing Cajun dishes and other menu items that we serve here on a daily basis, you will also get to enjoy two incredible bands over the weekend. Spontaneous Serendipity will be here on Friday night, and the Ozark Mountain Oysters will take over on Saturday night. Both of these talented groups are local favorites, and they put on a show that every age can enjoy.   

For Dad's with Younger Kids

If your family has younger children celebrating Dad this weekend, we've got food that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy. Like Dad's, but a bit smaller. This quarter-pound burger comes with or without cheese.

Delicious noodles served with either red sauce or Alfredo.

These fresh chicken tenders are hand breaded and fried to a golden brown.

Shorty Mini Corn Dogs
Just like it sounds: a plate of corn dogs, miniaturized.

Grilled Cheese
We use both white and yellow cheeses and melt them together on white bread. Warm, cheesy, and delicious.

For Dad's with Older Children

For the father's that have been at it for 21 years or longer, we've got the coldest, most refreshing cocktails in town to share with your adult children. Cajun Bloody Marys, hand-mixed Mojitos, and all of your favorite frozen drinks. 

New this year, we have Happy Hour every Sunday with drink specials on Mimosas, Screwdrivers, Margaritas, and of course, those famous Bloody Marys. That's perfect timing, since Father's Day just happens to fall on a Sunday!

Memorial Day is happening this Monday, May 30, 2016, which means this weekend you should be at the Lake of the Ozarks! When you need to fill your belly and your boat, Shorty Pants Marina is the place to go. Swing by to fill your watercraft with 87 Octane, 93 Octane, or Diesel. After that, duck into our C-store for all that you'll need for a day on the water, including snacks, drinks, ice, sunglasses, suntan lotion, Shorty Pants gear, and more, plus we've got the cleanest restrooms at the lake. Take a break in one of our rocking chairs and relax for a bit. We've got free popsicles for the kids to cool off, free coffee if you need some caffeine, and free treats for your four-legged passengers. If you are hungry for more than just a snack, take a short walk up the dock and enjoy dinner or lunch at the restaurant.

We've got the best Cajun food at the Lake of the Ozarks, featuring our famous Crab Cakes, Etouffee, and Po' Boys, but that's just the beginning of the delicious treats that we have in store for you. Rent Our Houses - Right Next Door to Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina!

Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina now has two amazing vacation rentals at the Lake of the Ozarks. If you are planning a trip to the area and are in need of an amazing place to stay, then you will definitely want to check these awesome houses out. 

*THE HOUSES*

Why rent an entire house?

There are a number of reasons that having an entire vacation rental house to yourself is a much better idea than simply renting a hotel room. If you are going to be in town for more than a night (and if you truly want to experience the Lake of the Ozarks, you're going to need a few nights!) or if you are traveling with a group of friends or your family, then our rental houses are exactly what you should be looking for.

Room for everyone

The Glass House offers 1,500 sq ft of living space. You can fit up to 8 people comfortably inside. Two of the bedrooms house queen size beds, the third bedroom has a full size bed, and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. There are two bathrooms on the property. 

The Red House boasts 3.400 sq ft of living space, perfect if you are traveling with more than eight people. Of the four bedrooms, the master suite upstairs has a king size bed and it's own full bathroom. Upstairs you will also find a sleeper sofa and a bedroom with both a queen size bed plus a day bed. The remaining two bedrooms are downstairs, one with a king size bed and the last with a queen size bed, plus an additional sleeper sofa in the living area. This level also has another 1.5 bathrooms.        

Grill lakeside

Both houses have a gas grill for you to utilize on the gorgeous decks overlooking the lake. There is a stunning 44-foot deck for dining, lounging, and entertaining at the Glass House. The Red House features two of these fantastic 44-foot decks. 

All the comforts of home

Each house has a beautifully appointed kitchen for any indoor cooking that you would like to do. There is a washer and dryer for taking care of all of those wet clothes and towels after a day on the lake. You will also find all of the other necessary appliances needed for everyday living.  

Waterfront access

You will also have lakefront access when you stay in one of these Shorty Pants vacation rentals. A courtesy dock is available upon request, and there are two ramps close by for getting your boats and jet skis into the water. 

Don't worry if you don't bring your own watercraft, because we have partnered with BomBay Boat Rental Company, so your can rent a ski boat, tritoon, or waverunner to use while you are in town.
