It's AquaPalooza Time at the Lake of the Ozarks!

One of the best annual boating events at the Lake of the Ozarks takes place at our sister restaurant in Osage Beach, Dog Days Bar & Grill. The event we're talking about happens to be the largest single-day boating event in the area - AquaPalooza 2019! 

A quick stop at the gas dock and C-store at Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina will stock you up on everything you need for an all-day concert on the water. If you prefer a more laid-back musical experience with a smaller crowd, you'll find more of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks right here on our own Shorty Pants stage. Either way, we've got your weekend entertainment covered!

AquaPalooza is a FREE lakeside concert featuring 4 incredible bands. Hundreds of boats will fill the cove and thousands of people, both in the water and on dry land, will be there to experience this amazing annual event.

A great big stage is set up facing the lake where the entire cove will be filled with boats in the docks and tied up together beyond that. The water directly in front of the stage will be full of concert-goers floating in the water to enjoy the show. 

You can both see and hear the music from the restaurant and bar as well if you prefer to stay dry or want to chill out in their awesome pools instead. This year's entertainment includes:

There's plenty of excitement here at our waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks too. For those of you that want to enjoy a delicious meal, a few drinks, and some great music by the water but without thousands of people around you, join us instead. Even with a full restaurant, it will be considerably more laid back on this side of the lake this weekend! 

We showcase amazing music every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 pm and each Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm at Shorty Pants Lounge. With our performers starting in the evening, you could even attend AquaPalooza during the day and head on over to see us afterward!

Stock Up at Shorty Pants Marina
No matter where you decide to go this weekend, if you're heading out on the lake a trip to the best gas dock and marina at the Lake of the Ozarks should be your very first stop. Shorty Pants Marina is located at the 21 MM by water in Salt Hollow Cove (or just a short walk down the dock if you're dining at Shorty Pants Lounge!) 

Here you can gas up your watercraft at our full-service gas dock and stock up on all of your boating essentials. We pump 87 Octane, 93 Octane, and Diesel fuel. 

The C-store is stocked with ice, beer, package liquor, water, soft drinks, snacks, marine supplies, sunscreen, sunglasses, all kinds of cool Shorty Pants gear, and a LOT more. We house the cleanest restrooms on the lake and there are plenty of comfy seats out front if you want to sit and visit for a while.   

This weekend is definitely an exciting one to be in the lake area, but then again, it's pretty amazing around here every weekend! (Most of the weekdays as well!) The Best Holiday Catering at the Lake of the Ozarks

If you're getting ready to begin planning a holiday party (or a few holiday gatherings,) you're going to need to feed everyone attending your event. Even though the restaurant at Shorty Pants Lounge is closed for the season, we can still cook up a holiday meal for you that your guests will absolutely love!

Shorty Pants is a part of the Barrett Restaurant Group which is made up of ourselves, Dog Days Bar & Grill, and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse. When we cater your event, you not only have all of the amazing dishes each of our restaurants are known for to pick from, but the creative chefs from all three venues are capable of making a customized menu from just about any food you love. No matter what the meal - breakfast, lunch, dinner, or "snack-time," you just let us know what you have in mind and our kitchen will come up with a menu perfectly suited to your needs.   

Any Event, Large or Small
We are able to cater events for small parties of a few close friends all the way up to groups of 500 or more people! Wedding receptions, holiday parties, office meetings, family reunions... the list goes on and on. If your celebration needs food, we can make that happen in the most delicious way possible! 

Our catering schedule works on a first-come, first served basis, so once you have a date in mind for your party, give us a call to get it on our calendar. To guarantee that date, it needs to be booked in advance with our sales office and a final guest count is needed one week before the event.   

Your Place or Ours?
We have a couple of awesome catering vans that we can load up with all of your goodies so that they can be delivered directly to you. On the other hand, if you are in need of a venue to host your event, we can help you out there too! 

Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is open year-round and has a private room that can be reserved. On certain occasions, even in our off-season, we may be able to host your party at one of the Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurants - Shorty Pants Lounge or Dog Days Bar & Grill. We'd be happy to discuss all of the possibilities when you give us a call.

AquaPalooza 2016 at Dog Days Bar & Grill - July 16!

While this is considered a boating event, you are welcome to arrive by land to join the party. There will be plenty of excitement going on all over the deck at Dog Days.

If you will be heading to AquaPalooza by water, make sure that you stop by Shorty Pants Marina for any supplies that you may need for the day. Our fully stocked C-store has everything necessary for a day on the lake, and we've got the best gas dock at the Lake of the Ozarks to get you gassed up and on the go.

The More You Eat, the More FREE Food You Earn!

Our popular Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant is a member of the Barrett Restaurant Group, making us a part of a big, delicious family of restaurants. Dog Days Bar & Grill and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse are wonderful sister restaurants to Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina, and when you dine at any one of them, you will be eligible to take part in our FREE Frequent Diner Program. 

No matter where you decide to eat between these three amazing choices, we will give you a little bit of it back in credit for future visits. Here is how the Frequent Diner Program works. 

First, simply ask your server about signing up. This can quickly and easily be done when you pay your bill. Next, all you have to do is continue ordering delicious food and drinks at any one of the Barrett Group Restaurants. Once you have spent $150, you will begin getting a 10% kickback on every penny spent after that. 



That's not difficult to do, because even though Shorty Pants and Dog Days are only open seasonally, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is there for you to enjoy all year long. Keep earning points toward free food year-round, and spend them at any of our three restaurants whenever you feel like it. These points never expire, so feel free to save them up.  

Here's an example. Say you have already spent your first $150, and you come in for a couple of drinks and an appetizer. Your bill is $20. Let your server know that you have the card, and they will make sure that you get your rewards, which in this case would be $2 to spend on another visit. 

If you decide to buy dinner & a few cocktails for everyone on the boat that day and the bill turns out to be $200, your friends have just helped you to put a $20 credit on your Frequent Diner Card. Even better, if you save your points long enough, you can buy that trip with points and just let everyone think that you splurged on them!

AquaPalooza 2015 at Dog Days Bar & Grill is THIS WEEKEND!

One of the most anticipated family boating events at the Lake of the Ozarks is happening this Saturday at our sister restaurant, Dog Days Bar and Grill.  AquaPalooza 2015 promises to be bigger and better than ever, and that's really saying something special.  Hundreds of boats and thousands of people eagerly await this awesome annual event.  Shorty Pants Lounge is proud to bring you all of the details for this amazing lakefront live music.

The Music

Four incredibly talented bands will be taking the AquaPalooza stage during this 5-hour concert on the water:  Members Only, Disco Dick and the Mirrorballs, Double Vision- A Foreigner Tribute Band, and State Line Drive.  Crowds will be watching from boats, the dock, the water, and the restaurant all day long.  This year's lineup spans multiple genres and decades of music: country/pop, classic rock, 70's, & 80's.  

  

The Experience

Year after year, people attending AquaPalooza at the Lake of the Ozarks enjoy the best food, the best drinks, and the best crowd for having the best day ever!  Dog Days offers an extensive menu, from starters to sandwiches to full entrees, plus a Sizzlin' Summer Shrimp Menu for July, and a Late-Night Menu which is served from 10 pm - Midnight every Friday and Saturday.  You will get the coldest,  most refreshing drinks from their awesome bartenders, and the entire staff will treat you like a VIP.

Dog Days Kicks off the 2014 Season this Friday!!

Our sister restaurant, Dog Days Bar and Grill, will re-open for the 2014 season this Friday, March 14th!!

Dog Days has great entertainment and has been voted the Best Waterfront Restaurant at the Lake!!  Whether you want to sip on one of their signature frozen cocktails, enjoy a nice dinner with your family or dance the night away with live bands, Dog Days is the place to be!
