The Food
The most authentic Cajun food at the Lake of the Ozarks comes out of our kitchen, right here smack dab in mid-Missouri. All of the Creole creations on our amazing menu feature rubs and spices direct from Louisiana. Our world famous Crab Cakes, savory Crawfish Etoufee, mouthwatering Gumbo, and giant Po Boy Sandwiches are just the beginning of a menu that is sure to satisfy.
Even if you're not quite in the mood for Cajun cuisine, you'll still find all kinds of delicious choices waiting for you on our diverse menu. The smoked wings are the best at the Lake and our burgers are simply out of this world. We've even got an excellent kids menu that the little ones love.
The talented bartenders at Shorty Pants Lounge make the most amazing hand-mixed cocktails. Some of the specialties that you will find coming out of our bar are freshly muddled Mojitos, Cajun Bloody Marys, and magnificent Margaritas. All of your favorite frozen drinks are here too; Pina Coladas, Strawberry Daiquiris, Rum Runners, and of course, the lake area favorite - Pain in the A**. In addition to those, we carry an excellent assortment of wines as well as the coldest beer in town.
The Music
On both Friday and Saturday evening of Memorial Day Weekend, we've got the extremely talented Dustin Clark on stage. This Missouri singer/songwriter has been entertaining crowds for over a decade with his hometown brand of music which is inspired both by his own personal life and stories from our veterans. If you can manage to squeeze an extra day into your extended holiday weekend, we've also got the incredible Travis Marvin lined up to begin our Tuesday night series of concerts.
The Gas Dock & C-Store
If you'll be spending any time at all out on the water this holiday weekend, then a stop at our full-service gas dock at the Lake of the Ozarks is a must! We've got 87 Octane, 93 Octane and Diesel fuel for all your watercraft, plus a lot more than just gas! Shorty Pants Marina's C-store has snacks, drinks, ice, sunglasses, suntan lotion, and more. Everything you could possibly need for a fun day out on the water. You can even pick up a little Shorty Pants gear while you're here.
While you wait to get fueled up, chill out in one of the comfortable seats on the dock and grab some free coffee if you need a jolt of caffeine, free popsicles for the kids, and we've even got free treats for your four-legged passengers. The View
Last, but certainly not least, is the view you get to enjoy from our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant & bar. It's great while you're eating, plus beautiful and relaxing enough to make you want to stick around for a while after you're done. There are plenty of tables lakeside, and you can also sit at the outside bar while getting a load of that awesome view.
If you prefer to eat indoors while you're here, you'll find even more seating in a New Orleans styled atmosphere. There's also another bar you can belly up to, and the indoor dining room at Shorty Pants Lounge is smoke-free.
We Have Vacation Rentals Too!
Right there we've already given you 5 fantastic reasons to spend Memorial Day Weekend at Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina (even more if you count the menu items individually!) We've got an entire season of fun still ahead of us after the holiday, and when you stay in one of our two Lake of the Ozarks vacation house rentals, you're always close to all the action. There are still a couple of weekends available over the next few months, but those openings won't last long!
