Celebrate National Burger Month This May at the Lake of the Ozarks

The month of May is all about a couple of delicious sections of the menu at our waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks - it's both National Burger Month AND National Salad Month! (It's actually National BBQ Month as well, which you can celebrate at our sister restaurant, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach too!) 

To get you excited about celebrating at Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina this month (and hungry for it) this week we're highlighting our specialty burgers and the fantastic side dishes you can enjoy with them. Next week we'll zone in on our savory salads. 

Signature Burgers at Shorty Pants Lounge
A big, hearty burger is a dish that always seems to hit the spot. If you're searching for the best burgers at the Lake of the Ozarks, then look no further than Shorty Pants Lounge! Sure, we're most widely known for our delicious Cajun cuisine, but our chefs know how to make an amazing burger too!

The most important part of any burger is the meat itself, and we prepare ours using the very best ground beef available. It all comes from Midwest beef supplies located in Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska. 

Once you have the perfect burger, it becomes truly unique when you begin adding all sorts of toppings to it. You are welcome to come up with our own burger creation using the many toppings we have listed below, or you can choose one of the following scrumptious recipes from our menu. 

Jack Daniels Burger
A delicious combo of certified Angus beef and Jack's famous Tennessee whiskey served on Asiago Focaccia bread. 

Baja Burger
Our blackened classic burger topped off with pepper jack cheese and jalapenos. 

Bacon Cheddar Burger
Our hickory-smoked bacon and cheddar cheese get this burger poppin'! It's served with lettuce, tomato, and onion. 

The Bill Burger
Two certified Angus beef patties, cooked on the griddle, topped with American cheese and grilled onions. 

Black and Bleu Burger
Our blackened classic burger topped with bleu cheese crumbles.
