Our July Music Lineup & Your 4th of July Boating Headquarters

The 4th of July falls on a Wednesday this year, so we expect people to be celebrating the weekend before, the weekend after, and the entire week in between at the best Cajun waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks! We do our best to make your visit to Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina a memorable one each time that you stop by. The delicious food & drinks are a big part of that, and so is our incredible entertainment lineup. 

Our outdoor stage is home to some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. Here is what we have planned for you in July. Music begins at 6 pm on Tuesdays and 7 pm on the weekends.

Shorty Pants Marina
Shorty Pants Lounge is here to feed and entertain you while you are in the lake area, and a very short walk down our dock takes you to the best gas dock & marina at the Lake of the Ozarks, complete with a C-store filled with everything you need for an exciting day out on the lake. 

If you're looking for a place to park your boat or jet ski while you're in town, Shorty Pants Marina has 35 covered slips that can be rented, available in sizes 14x36 up to 20x56, plus some PWC slip rentals too. If you are interested, please call 573-302-1004 for more details and to check availability. Amenities for our marina guests include:

 Our full-service gas dock pumps 87 Octane, 93 Octane, and Diesel fuel. There are lounge chairs and picnic tables outside for you to take a break in while you're here, and inside, the C-store has a little bit of everything. You'll find boating supplies, ice, soft drinks, package liquor, snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, cool Shorty Pants gear, and a LOT more. Inside we also house the cleanest restrooms at the lake, making us an even more perfect pit stop while you're out and about cruising the water.

The Wonderful Wraps, Tacos, and Savory Salads From Shorty Pants

It's officially summertime at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant, which means the warm days are going to be getting hotter. When the temperatures rise, sometimes you feel like eating a little lighter. The savory salads at Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina are the perfect dishes to keep it light while still satisfying your hunger. Our wonderful wraps and tacos fit the bill nicely too. Either way that you go, you know you will be making an excellent choice! 

SALADS
Some people think of salads as a side dish that you eat before a big meal. This is true in some cases, but the salads we are talking about today are satisfying meals on their own. Full of fresh, filling ingredients, these aren't your typical salads but rather something much, much more impressive.  

 Caesar Salad
Crisp Romaine lettuce tossed with our own Caesar dressing, croutons, and Parmesan cheese. For a bit more, add grilled chicken or blackened shrimp! 

 Ahi Tuna Salad
A 6-oz. sesame encrusted Sashimi grade tuna filet cooked to your liking and served over fresh spring mix with feta cheese and heirloom tomatoes and served with our house remoulade dressing. The tuna also tastes great blackened. 

 Cobb Salad
The king of salads! A platter of fresh spinach and spring mix topped with smoked ham and turkey, crumbled bacon, hard-boiled egg, avocado, tomatoes, red onion, and cheddar and Provel cheese.

 Blackened Salad
Blackened strips of beef tenderloin or chicken with bacon, tomatoes, and bleu cheese crumbles over a bed of fresh greens, served with our Cajun bleu cheese dressing. 

 Summer Spinach Salad
Fresh spinach, apple slices, grapes, and heirloom tomatoes topped with grilled chicken and served with our house raspberry balsamic dressing. 

WRAPS & TACOS
These incredible wraps come with your choice of a side dish, or you can choose to upgrade to one of our signature sides for a small additional charge. Last, but certainly not least, this list is closed out by a taco that will truly blow your mind! 

 Chicken Caesar Wrap
A wheat tortilla wrapped around a Caesar salad featuring grilled chicken.

 Shrimp BLT Wrap
Seasoned grilled shrimp, smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and Cajun mayo rolled in a sun-dried tomato wrap.

 Plantation Wrap
A meal wrapped up in a sun-dried tomato tortilla. Andouille sausage, jumbo shrimp, and red beans and rice make a full-bodied wrap.   

Turkey Avocado Wrap
Hickory-smoked turkey breast served in a wheat tortilla with avocado, avocado mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheddar-jack cheese. 

 Grilled Turkey Wrap
Lightly grilled turkey breast served in a wheat tortilla with bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar-jack cheese, and ranch. 

 Shrimp and Grits Tacos
Our famous jalapeno grits under shrimp, Andouille sausage, bacon, and jalapeno lime sauce. 

If you're craving something on the lighter side, any one of the Shorty Pants Lounge menu items above will satisfy your hunger. Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina is Fun For the Whole Family!

Our family-friendly waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has a little something for everyone in the family, no matter how young or old (aka - young-at-heart) they may be! With Father's Day right around the corner (Sunday, June 17, 2018) this is the perfect time to load the whole family in the car or boat and make your way on over to Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina. If you need a little convincing, the following reasons should do it! 

Wide Variety of Delicious Food
Even though we are best known for serving the best Cajun food at the Lake of the Ozarks, our extensive menu is not limited to just that style of food. If you are a Creole cuisine fan, you'll be excited to discover our Famous Crab Cakes, Crawfish-N-Shrimp Etouffee, Jambalaya, Po Boy Sandwiches, and much, much more. 

 For the rest of you, there are plenty of delicious dishes without that particular influence, such as our Steak 'N' Cheese Sandwich, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, Ahi Tuna Salad, Specialty Burgers, Steaks, Catfish, and a lot more. We also have an awesome kids' menu featuring burgers, pasta, chicken tenders, mini corn dogs, grilled cheese, pulled pork, and even frozen Jolly Rancher Slushies.    

Lakeside Seating
We are conveniently located at the 21 MM in Osage Beach so you can reach us both by land and by water. Once you get here, we've got lots of seating on the outside deck featuring a spectacular lake view. If you have a few extra fries left over, you can even toss them to the giant fish that love to hang out around our dock. 

 Of course, if you've been outside all day already and need a little break from the sun, you'll find lots of tables inside too, with room for families of every size. The indoor dining room is air-conditioned and smoke-free. Very comfortable on a hot spring or summer day! (On the colder fall days too!)  

Full-Service Gas Dock & Marina
Just a short walk down the dock takes you to the best gas dock at the Lake of the Ozarks. The C-Store at Shorty Pants Marina has everything you could possibly need for a fun day out on the water, including sunglasses, sunscreen, package liquor, snacks, soft drinks, boating supplies, and a lot more. They also pump fuel for your watercraft in 87 Octane, 93 Octane, and Diesel. 

 Have a seat in a lounge chair on the dock while we fill you up and enjoy free popsicles for the kiddos, free coffee, free dog treats, and the cleanest restrooms at the Lake of the Ozarks. We've even got covered dock slips available to rent if you need a place to park your boat or jet ski while you're in town. A Place to Stay  
In addition to offering places to park your watercraft, we've got two of the best vacation rental houses at the Lake of the Ozarks for you to park your bodies in if you're joining us from out of town. We have the Glass House, which can accommodate up to 8, and the Red House, which can hold up to 16. Many dates are already booked, but we do still have some availability throughout the summer and into the fall. These rentals are right next door to Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina, so you're always close to all of the fun!  

Memories Are Waiting To Be Made
Last, but certainly not least, our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is an excellent spot to make lots of fantastic memories for your family to cherish for many years to come. We'll do all of the cooking and cleanup while you simply enjoy each other's company, catching up with each other.

Our Amazing Burgers and the Savory Side Dishes to Enjoy With Them

A big, hearty burger is a dish that always seems to hit the spot. If you're searching for the best burgers at the Lake of the Ozarks, then look no further than Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina! Sure, we're most widely known for our delicious Cajun cuisine, but our chefs know how to make an amazing burger too! 

The most important part of any burger is the meat itself, and we prepare ours using the very best ground beef available. Once you have the perfect burger, it becomes truly unique when you begin adding all sorts of toppings to it. You are welcome to come up with our own burger creation with the many toppings we have listed below, or you can choose one of the following scrumptious recipes from our menu.

The Bill Burger
Two certified Angus beef patties cooked on the griddle, topped with American cheese and grilled onions.

Our hickory-smoked bacon and cheddar cheese get this burger poppin'. Served with lettuce, tomato, and onion. 

 Jack Daniels Burger
A delicious combo of certified Angus beef and Jack's famous Tennessee whiskey served on Asiago Focaccia bread.

Our blackened classic burger topped off with pepper jack cheese and jalapenos.

    Sliced carrots sauteed with honey, pecans, and smooth Kentucky bourbon.
  • Cheddar Jalapeno Grits
