Many people are extremely excited about our Cajun waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks opening back up for the season next week. For those of you that have not yet experienced the excitement and deliciousness that is Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina, here are some customer reviews that will give you a good look at what dining with us can be like. 

We also have two of the best waterfront vacation house rentals at the Lake of the Ozarks right next door to the restaurant and marina. Those are available year-round. Vacation House Rental Reviews

We have two vacation house rentals available. The Red House can host up to 16 guests and the Glass House can sleep up to 8.

"Perfect House for Large Group/Family: This house has everything you need; plenty of space, screened in porch with a huge table for hanging out in the evenings, enough bathrooms for all guests, TWO kitchens, and a great deck (you can listen to the live music from Shorty Pants which we loved). We will definitely stay there again, thank you for making my wife's 30th birthday a great weekend!!!"

"Wonderful long weekend: We spent a long weekend at The Glass House with two other couples and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and decor was perfect for a lake house get away. The boys loved playing the arcade game while waiting for the ladies to get ready to head out for an adventure. Location was perfect as just across the street from Shorty Pants Lounge where we were able to stop in for a convenient and tasty meal! I highly recommend this property for your vacation!"

Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina is AWESOME, but Don't Just Take Our Word For It...

We can talk about how awesome our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant & bar is until we're blue in the face, but anyone that hasn't been to Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina in person is going to be skeptical. That's perfectly natural.

"Amazing cajun food! I was here for a weekend in the off season (fall) but stumbled upon this place and was very pleased. Our waitress was super sweet and even gave us a guidebook of local places to hike! The food itself was great! I had the shrimp po'boy with cornbread and candied bourbon carrots. Get the carrots and the cornbread! They were so good! The menu is pretty big and everything sounded very good. The portions were large so everything was a great value. If you are in the Lake of the Ozarks area I highly recommend this place!"

THE RED HOUSE

"We booked the Red House for a bachelorette weekend. The house was AMAZING! We had nine guests, and had plenty of room for more! We loved having a private dock to enjoy the lake and the sun! The staff at Shorty Pants took great care of us. Our arrival was smooth thanks to Ashley's organization and efforts. She had everything set up for us, and was always available if we had a question! The house is great for larger groups because there is a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and covered porch downstairs as well as a kitchenette, dinette, living room and sun porch upstairs! With 9 women, it was great to have 3 full bathrooms and a half bath. I would definitely recommend staying with Shorty Pants Rentals! The driveways are very steep, so I'd make sure you have 4-wheel drive! We can't wait to stay here again! Thank you Shorty Pants for giving us a weekend we won't forget!"

" 'Best place for a little Cajun at the lake.' I try to go to Shorty Pants as often as I can, I LOVE Cajun food and so far as I know they have the largest menu of Cajun at the lake. Being right on the water is awesome, the the wait staff is fun and easy on the eyes and the food is pretty good... I wish they would deliver to Eldon. They have non-Cajun food on the menu too and it all looks good, I just never order it. If you are just visiting the lake, this place isn't the easiest to find but it is certainly worth the trip."

The servers were good and even helped move us to a dry table when it started raining.
