" 'Good Cajun food & great lake view' Our family greatly enjoyed sitting lakeside for dinner at Shorty Pants. The red beans and rice were spot on and my daughter's catfish dinner was HUGE. The service was great and very attentive."

" 'Best place for a little Cajun at the lake.' I try to go to Shorty Pants as often as I can, I LOVE Cajun food and so far as I know they have the largest menu of Cajun at the lake. Being right on the water is awesome, the the wait staff is fun and easy on the eyes and the food is pretty good... I wish they would deliver to Eldon. They have non-Cajun food on the menu too and it all looks good, I just never order it. If you are just visiting the lake, this place isn't the easiest to find but it is certainly worth the trip."

" 'Best Bloody Mary on the Lake!' We go every day while on vacation to start our day with their Cajun Bloody Mary. We had dinner there on Friday night as well. They were crazy busy but had a short wait to be seated and food was wonderful! We got to know some of the staff in our daily visits, all very friendly, get along well, and seem to love working there. Worth the stop for drinks and food!"

"Great restaurant with a great atmosphere. Being from Louisiana I was hesitant to try a place that billed itself as a restaurant that specialized in Creole cuisine. I ordered the jambalaya. It was perfectly filling and spiced well. My gf ordered the "big easy shrimp" that was also very good and seasoned perfectly. The servers were good and even helped move us to a dry table when it started raining. The Hurricane I ordered was also very good and reminded me of the drinks they serve on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Highly recommend. Enjoy."
