It's almost time to name the winner of the Dog Days Bar & Grill Texaco Country Showdown!! We've seen lots of talent and are excited to name the 2013 Showdown winner this Wednesday night.The Country Showdown begins each spring with over 450 local artists, like the one we have at Dog Days Bar & Grill and advance local winners to a state competition held at fairs and other venues. Winners of the state will take the title, $1000 prize and the opportunity to advance to one of the Regional Finals. The final competition is the televised National Final where the winner receives the Grand Prize of $100,000 and the title of "Best New Act in Country Music."
Be sure to cheer the contestants on this Wednesday, August 7th at 8:00 at Dog Days Bar & Grill.
