As this blog is being written, we are currently finishing up a fantastic kitchen remodel. This will allow us to get even more creative with the delicious dishes we serve. Once the remodel is complete, we'll be opening our doors to you this spring so you can enjoy the following plates of Creole goodness, as well as all of your other Shorty Pants Lounge favorites.
BOURBON STREET EATS
Each of these incredible Cajun creations is served with a garden salad or mini Caesar and your choice of French bread or corn muffins.
Crab Cake Pasta
Two delicious handmade shrimp and lump blue crab cakes are placed on a bed of fresh fettuccine with our amazing seafood cream sauce.
Cajun Alfredo
A mildly spiced Alfredo tossed with fresh fettuccine noodles. You may order this with chicken, shrimp, or a combination of the two.
Easy Street Trio
You will love this sweet and spicy blush cream sauce with Andouille sausage, shrimp, and tender chicken served over fresh fettuccine.
Chicken New Orleans
A blackened chicken breast sauteed with a trio of bell peppers and our Cajun cream sauce served over rice.
Voodoo Chicken
A spicy, marinated, blackened chicken breast placed over a bed of sauteed onions, peppers, and rice.
Smothered Catfish
A catfish filet served on a bed of rice and smothered in our crawfish etouffee. Order this either fried or blackened.
Jambalaya
A Louisiana rice-based dish steamed in rich and subtle Cajun spices, Andouille sausage, chicken, and shrimp. Try it "dirty" topped with red beans!
Red Beans 'n' Rice
This classic dish is seasoned to perfection and served with a link of Andouille sausage.
Shrimp 'n' Grits
Large shrimp sauteed with Andouille sausage, hickory-smoked bacon, onions, and mushrooms served over our homemade cheddar cheese and jalapeno grits.
Crawfish-N-Shrimp Etouffee
Crawfish and shrimp smothered in a rich creamy etouffee sauce with Creole vegetables served with rice.
New Orleans Medley
A plateful of our signature entrees - creamy crawfish etouffee, rich jambalaya, red beans and rice, and a half link of Andouille sausage.
Bet your mouth is watering just reading about it! Like we said before, you don't have to travel all the way to New Orleans to experience incredible Cajun cooking made with authentic Louisiana rubs and spices. Instead, head on over to our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant this season.
