Comfortable Dining - Indoors & Out
No matter what type of weather Mother Nature decides to bring for spring break, it won't stop you from enjoying the best Cajun food at the Lake of the Ozarks! If it's sunny and gorgeous, which is what we always hope for, there is lots of seating overlooking that gorgeous lake view.
Rain is always a possibility in the spring. After all, we can't have those beautiful spring colors on the trees unless some rain falls. That's never a problem at Shorty Pants because we've also got plenty of seating inside, as well as a fully stocked bar to belly up to. For those pleasant yet chilly evenings, we can even light up the outdoor fireplace under our covered patio.
Awesome Kids' Menu
If your spring break involves a younger set of children, you'll have no problem finding something delicious to eat for everyone in the family. We've got a kids' menu that even the most finicky diner will love, and you can still enjoy all of the amazing adult meals we have on our extensive menu, like Crab Cake Pasta, Crawfish-N-Shrimp Etouffee, Po Boys, Ribeyes, and more. For the little ones, we've got:
- Shorty Burger - A quarter pounder, with or without cheese
- Shorty Pasta - Served with either red sauce or Alfredo sauce
- Chicken Tenders - Fresh chicken tenders hand-breaded and fried to a golden brown
- Grilled Cheese - White and American cheese melted together on white bread
- Shorty Mini Corn Dogs
Fully Stocked Marina, Gas Dock, & C-store
A short walk down the dock off of Shorty Pants Lounge brings you to Shorty Pants Marina. As long as you have a light jacket or sweatshirt to put on just in case (we have some great ones for sale!) spring is a wonderful time to get out on the water. It's not too crowded yet, like in mid-summer, and the scenery you'll see is simply breathtaking.
Our marina carries everything that you could possibly need for an awesome day out on the lake. You can get fuel for your boat, as well as fuel (aka- snacks, drinks, package liquor, ice, etc...) for your crew. You'll also find sunglasses, hats, toiletries, boat supplies, and much more.
If you'll be bringing a boat or PWC to the lake area and need a place to park it, we also have covered dock slips for rent. You can call us at 573-302-1004 to check availability and find out about all of the incredible amenities that come along with your dock slip rental.
The Perfect Place to Stay
You'll need a place to "park" your body too, and we can even help you out with that! We own 2 of the best vacation rental houses at the Lake of the Ozarks, and they are available all year long. During spring break, the lake isn't too crowded yet, but a lot of places are already open for the season, so you can have lots of fun without lots of people getting in your way.
Our rental houses are set up to feel like a home away from home, and they are perfect for both families to enjoy or even a big group of your buddies wanting to get away together. Each house has an incredible lake view and is only a short walk down the driveway away from Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina.
They both have full kitchens, incredible decks, a BBQ grill, and a washer/dryer, just to name a few of the amenities. The Glass House can hold up to 8 guests, and the Red House can accommodate up to 16 people.
