Fun Run Details
The Change of Heart Fun Run involves a 164-foot (0.05K) walk/run starting at Shorty Pants Lounge at 3 pm, with registration beginning at 2 pm. There will be a quick stop for a refreshing drink along the course before turning around and heading back to our family friendly Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant. You can pre-register at www.ChangeOfHeartFunRun.com for $25, or register on-site the day of the event for $30. The money raised from the Change of Heart Fun Run supports Donate Life. Funds will be used to allow a lucky family of up to 4 travel to the 2018 Transplant Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. These games are a multi-sport festival event to promote the need for organ & tissue donation, and to show the world that transplantation is a treatment that really does work. Over the years these games have become a wonderful place where transplant and donor families can come together.
Live Music & Live Auction
Once you finish that "exhausting" trip, the amazing Barefoot Entertainer himself, Mr. Dale Blue, will be here to rock the house! It's never a dull time when Dale hits the stage, and this wonderful cause is sure to have him showing off his entertaining best.
Rick Bryant will be on hand to host a live auction full of high-end items that you can bid on. You get to pick up some great stuff and help this worthy cause at the same time! That day will also be your last chance to purchase raffle tickets to win 1 of 2 guns and a large flat-screen TV.
Not A Runner?
You don't have to sign up for the run/walk to help out this worthy cause. You can join us at Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina just to buy raffle tickets and bid on items in the live auction. If you can't make it out on July 23, you can also make a donation through the registration website. Donate as little or as much as you would like, because everything helps.
