Crab Cakes - Two handmade shrimp and lump blue crab meat cakes rolled in seasoned breadcrumbs and topped with shrimp in our seafood cream sauce.



Sweet Bourbon Carrots - Sliced carrots sauteed with brown sugar, honey, pecans, and smooth Kentucky Bourbon.

Blackened Creole Chicken - Blackened Chicken with sauteed peppers and onions topped with shredded Pepper Jack Cheese served on a toasted Kaiser Bun!




Filet Oscar - Certified Angus tenderloin topped with lump crab meat, asparagus and our famous seafood  creme sauce.

Spring has arrived and Summer is just around the corner - And every "season" at the Lake of the Ozarks brings friends and families to come and visit.  Although we all love the guests, it can become a hassle to cook, clean and entertain.  Now, we won't come and clean your house but we have a great entertainment schedule and we can provide some of the best catering at the Lake of the Ozarks that is sure to please any guest!!!

The Barrett Restaurant Group can bring the power of three diverse restaurants to any party.  We offer on-premise facilities including Dog Days, The Dog Pound, Shorty Pants Lounge, and Wobbly Boots BBQ - Or, if you like, we can bring the party to you!! Our experienced staff will help you create a personal catering experience to your liking. We can custom design menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, reception, seminar breaks or summer parties.  With three different restaurants combined, we are able to pull together a great catering menu that will allow you a wide variety of options.

The Blarney Stone offer Irish Charm with a Simple Kiss!!

Looking for a sure-fire way to gain the Irish charm and silver tongue?   According to urban legend, a simple kiss of the Blarney stone will transform you into the king of all Casanovas!!!

Now obviously, the powers of the Blarney Stone are absolutely UN-Deniable - but to say that the kiss is simple, might have been a wee bit of an overstatement on our part...


First of all the Blarney Stone is located in the Blarney Castle, near the town of Blarney in Cork, Ireland.  Secondly, the kiss does not come without risk of life and limb!!  In order to actually kiss the blarney stone, one has to lean backwards, hold onto an iron railing over an open chasm upside down  and kiss the stone while partially suspended in the air!!  So what  would drive people to take such chances?  Apparently, even the slightest chance of acquiring the silver tongue and charm of the Irish will drive thousands of people to the castle each year.

Now, Shorty Pants Lounge cannot offer you the chance to kiss the Blarney Stone, but we do serve BEER, and according to Urban Legend, the Irish LOVE BEER (who knew, right?)!!!  So slip into your favorite green attire, get on over to Shorty Pants, save yourself a life-threatening experience and get your Irish Charm on with our Ice Cold BEER!!  I can already feel the Irish Charm....

Shorty Pants Lounge, the Lake’s Favorite Cajun Restaurant, is open for the 2013 Season!!   

The Lake's Favorite Cajun Restaurant is open and serving up their authentic creole menu that's straight out of New Orleans. While everyone raves about our World Famous Crab Cakes, we also feature Gumbo, Crawfish Étoufée, Shrimp, Catfish, as well as more traditional fare such as mouthwatering steaks and award winning baby back ribs. Shorty Pants has signature sandwiches and wraps like the Steak ‘n Cheese sub or the Asiago Chicken sandwich. We also have a kid’s menu for the little ones.

If the spring weather is a little chilly - don't worry!!  Shorty Pants has you covered with indoor seating as well or you can sit outside by the fireplace. Once the weather warms up, enjoy our huge waterfront deck,  live music and a great atmosphere.

Our restaurant is “Smoke-Free” inside and offers plenty of seating outside. Catch all your sports in the outdoor lounge or inside. Celebrate the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl at Wobbly Boots!!

Wobbly Boots Schedule for the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl!

The 2013 Pub Crawl is coming up and Wobbly Boots is gearing up for a great night.  There will be a few changes to our normal schedule to accommodate the BIGGEST PUB CRAWL EVER!! 

Below is an outline of the this weekends events:

Friday Night:

• Wobbly Boots Pub Crawl Kickoff part with Dale Blue at 8 pm

Saturday

• Regular kitchen hours 11am - 2pm
• Main kitchen closes at 3pm to transition to Pub Crawl set up
• Street Food/Party Tent open at 3pm
• Pub Crawl begins at 4pm 
• Dale Blue begins at 4:30pm
• DJ Vinyl Richey starts at 9pm

After 4pm, you must have a Pub Crawl wrist band and a valid photo ID for admission. 

We hope everyone will come out for a great night of partying! Be sure to find a designated driver or leave your keys at home and enjoy the free transportation provided by the Pub Crawl.

The Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

Even though Shorty Pants Lounge is closed for the season, our sister restaurant will be participating in one of the best parties at the lake.....The 2013 Mardi Gras Pub Crawl!!!  This is the 11th year for the event and each year we grow in the number of attendance, the number of live bands and the number of participating restaurants.  Below is some information about the event that will help you plan your crawl!!

The 2013 Pub Crawl Wrist Bands are required and are only $7.00 per person.  Instead of charging a cover at each venue, you simply pay one fee for a wrist band and you can get into every participating bar/restaurant.

The wrist band  includes:  Entry to 22 participating venues, unlimited entertainment and bus transportation to all 22 locations.  They will also offer pick up and drop off at participating Hotels/Motels. Wrist bands can be purchased the night of the event or before the event at all 22 participating bars/restaurants and specific Hotel/Motel sponsors.

Leave your keys and take the bus!!!  28 total buses run from 4:00 pm till 2:30 am and will get you to and from your location with no need to drive.We provide the sober chauffeur.  The only thing you need to do is kick back, leave you keys behind, jump on a bus and have fun. Hotel shuttles are provided to get your crawl started and route buses stop at every location on the CRAWL!!!
